I know someone who has an online shop and he decided after shop has just been launched to use also eBay to increase sales, and to get more visitors to his shop.

This was a good idea since seems he attracted some buyers, and also directed visitors to his own online shop.

So, selling through eBay (or similar) would help increasing both sales and number of shop visitors (potential customers). So this is a good idea at least for startups.

I am planning on opening up a little store on one of my websites. I never thought of that. Thanks for the tip.
