What Newsletter features do you like?
We're currently working on an automated daily/weekly newsletter for each of our forums including this one AdminBuzz.com. We have been discussion what features we would like to include in the newsletter.
I thought it would be a good idea to ask our members:

AH! tough question, For me maybe the most recent posts. Maybe let it include a tip of the week/day. Show our newest member(s). Anyway I'm out of suggestions. Sadly, I really never have subscribted to a forum newsletter.

I like to know which threads are the most popular, how many registrations/posts/threads there are each day/week/month, what are the new posts and I think that's basically it.
A lot of forum newsletters like to let people know who the newest registered user of their forum are but personally I couldn't care less. Newsletters are often ignored, especially if it's plain so add some graphics. There's no guarantee that everyone has a provider that allows them to view the graphics properly but it's definitely worth a try.

Not a lot of threads get rated though. People don't really use that feature.

While I was checking out the Moderator Control Panel, I can across the Linkback thingy, and i took a look, Amazingly I found a image of the AdminBuzz Newsletter.
Anyway as for what i'd like to see, well I've been thinking maybe if we successed in getting the marketplace running how much stuff has been posted.

As you may have guessed, our newsletter is on hold. Unfortunately we don't have a large staff of coders. However, one of our new sites in development will allow you to get updates from any vB forum via email, even if you're not a member! I may have said too much ! This is just one of the many great features of the site.
