Smile Types of Links?

Well, I have heard of some types of link in Internet Marketing. Links like reciprocal links, back links, no-follow links etc.

But I am really confused about all of them, really which is good for our site and which are not?

Can anybody explain all these different different types of links and advantages and disadvantages of them?

Actually which links are good for growth of the site?

I hope this discussion will help others too.

Thanks in advance!

CMIIW,
reciprocal link - if we have back link to another site and that site linkback to our site

back link - link from another site to our site

no-follow - link that doesn't follow to site

I think reciprocal links and back links which good to our site.

No follow links are good for the site owner but not for the person who has a link on that site.

A reciprocal link is alright but you should just get one ways if possible. Reciprocals mean you have to put their link up on your site in exchange for your link up on their site. With one ways, you can have your link up without having to put theirs up.

Yeah, it's just a way to make sure that spammers get no benefit from abusing public areas like blog comments, trackbacks, and referrer lists.

No, that's the point of the no follow attribute.

Nice spam job LOL

Anyway, back on target. Links like the one above that is spam is bad. Eventually will be deleted and your work and time will be wasted. Building links takes time and you want to do it correctly. But great ways to do is to find sites that allow signature with links and post a lot of good content. If your helping the site out they dont mind helping you. I know alot of people use condition signatures along with there vbseo, so in order for your link to count you have to have so many posts. So just take time, but dont go spamming your links about. And you should also know that not every link is a good link. You want to put links on relevant sites that have something similar to yours.
