Default Does site translator useful?

I just added a simple site translator to my blog.. Do you think it will attract more non-English visitors? Any experience with translators?

Site translators would probably be helpful only on sites with lots of contents- articles, essays, history and stuff. Personally, I have never used one.. Never made anything for non- english users. But site like ezine, wiki should be having one inbuilt. one -ve point is.. Unless you use fairly simple and normal english, you wouldnt get an accurate translation.
