What are the best newsletter features for visitor retention?

We're currently working on an automated daily/weekly newsletter for each of our forums including this one at www.AdminBuzz.com. We have been discussing what features we would like to include in the newsletter.
I thought it would be a good idea to ask the general public, the following:
